Ivan's Tape Vault

I am a Richmond, VA based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter,producer, husband/father of two(you get the picture). I wanted to find an outlet for all of the dusty old warped cassettes and other media I have lying around. I'm originally from Charlottesville, Va and I was very lucky to participate in the rich musical tradition that continues to thrive there.     The Apartment(Part II)

    There was no time to waste, I had to place a phone call immediately if this was going to work. Would she be a willing accomplice? Perhaps. I kept wondering what was the state of our relationship now? Maybe it didn’t matter because there was something for the both of us in this potential partnership: A new frontier as it were, all for the taking.

    In less than 1 half hour there was a knock at the door, there she stood in amazement of my discovery. We immediately agreed that in order for us to make this our “home” we would have to set about dismantling every vestige of what was in the place. We had our work cut out for us…
