Re: That last tweet… truer words have never been spoken.
The bar is so low now that anybody can play. Anybody can make a movie or record a track. But that doesn’t mean it’s good. -Bob Lefsetz
I cannot stand for someone to come at me loud and wrong and then have the temerity to have a sense of entitlement. #gototheotherline
H-O-T boy that does not happen very often but when someone plucks the last nerve I have that’s what happens. #deepbreathing

So many folks that you could name born between those years of 1917-1930 but u could stop at Diz, Bird, Miles and Trane. So many more…
I’m not talking about sales, popularity or not of that stuff that people get stuck on. I’m talking about the often immeasurable: influence.
As a collective,of course there have been fantastic innovative musicians across all generations but as a collective that group is hrd 2 beat
I often think that generation from Diz’s birth in 1917 to around 1930 might be the greatest generation of musicians born in this country.
Watching Jazz for the millionth time here at work Ep. 7 Dedicated to Chaos. Man, Dizzy Gillespie is just that dude for me on many levels.
The reason I say immeasurable is that sometimes folks have influences resounding out of them and they don’t even know. It happens.
The reason that I say that is often people are only willing to go back a generation but if you listen to what they are doing it goes back
Since X represents the unknown if I leave you and you still can’t define to me what X is, then either you don’t know or there’s something

To me business has always been. How much do you charge to do X? You tell me and then I make a decision on whether or not to proceed.
You don’t want me to know. Either way, no deal.
Man,”Take The A Train” just came on and I had the sudden urge to stand up and put my hand over my heart.
It’s the next level because you’re not guessing anymore, you know. No happy accidents that you try to replicate, it’s deliberate.
much further and in that case the person is just not aware. That’s all. But when u can connect to the source, that’s the next level.
Almost time for work… where did the time go? I guess where it always goes. I’m trying to go there one day and retrieve a lil lost time.
You got me over here looking at my mouthpiece hanging my head in shame. #pianohastakenover

I’m sure my account of time wasted is in very good standing. I don’t think I want to see a debt to income ratio on that account.
